St. Paul of the Cross celebrates the sacraments as one community, with the Catechesis Program and SPC School celebrating together!

Reconciliation Information for 2023-2024:

St. Paul, in compliance with the policy and procedure of the The Archdiocese of Chicago, has two parent meetings that you are expected to attend, one for Reconciliation and one for First Communion, each are one hour.

Reconciliation Parent Meeting (required) for 2023-2024 will be on November 14 from 7:00 – 8:00 pm. It will take place in Holy Family Chapel (HFC is the basement of the church) – enter through the double doors off of Washington parking lot. 

Only one parent need attend the parent meeting. If you need to bring your child you may, but please bring something to occupy them and please do not bring food or drinks.

Attendance will be taken. Those that attended will be emailed the meeting packet. For those that missed,  information will be emailed about how to make up the meeting.

Reconciliations are always scheduled by Class –  Reconciliations will be in the Upper Church and all begin at 7:00 pm.

January 22 Reconciliation – The following classes are on this date:

Alicea ~ Ashbeck ~ Coogan/Wolinski ~ Guerrero ~ McCall ~ Pinter ~ Good Shepherd – Barrett ~ All Abilities – Russo ~ Other Grades/Classes

January 23 Reconciliation – The following classes are on this date:

Caronia ~ Cataudella ~ Galvin ~ McCallister ~ Directed Study Program ~ Worship Program

Change Requests for the date of your child’s Reconciliation must be made by January 8 – after that dates changes will not be allowed.

Sacrament Fees

There is a $70 Communion/Reconciliation Fee, for each child receiving the sacraments. It is paid by both Catechesis families and School families.

Catechesis Families, please include the $70 Sacrament Fee with your tuition (see Tuition/Fees link on the Registration page of this website).

School families this $70 Sacrament Fee is NOT in your school fees and should be paid by check or using our online payment option (accepts credit cards or electronic checks) on GiveCentral
